The company’s achievements are seen as a “huge testimony” to their commitment to service and sustainability.
National Drainage Awards Recognition
The firm has been shortlisted in two key categories at the National Drainage Awards, with winners set to be announced at a ceremony at Charlton Football Club in London, hosted by Jim Davidson.
- Small Contractor of the Year
- Sustainability Champion of the Year
A company spokesperson stated that both nominations “reflect our mission to provide first-class service and restore trust in the trade.”
West Country Drainage Services is particularly noted for its environmental work, which includes:

West Country Women Awards Finalists
Following an announcement ceremony at Powderham Castle, the Bridgwater firm secured two additional finalist spots at the West Country Women Awards, chosen from over 2,060 entries. Former ITV presenter Alexis Bowater led the announcement ceremony.
The finalists are:
- Leanne Jeanes (West Country Drainage Services Ltd) for the Woman in Property and Construction Award.
- West Country Drainage Services Ltd for the Green Business of the Year category.
The firm anticipates a week of celebration, noting the West Country Women Awards Gala will be held in Plymouth at the end of next month, just two days after the National Drainage Awards ceremony.
